Cerler 2024

Every summer for the past 46 years many families have sent their children to the Cerler Camp.

The English Summer Camp is for children aged 7 to 14 years old.

It takes place at Hotel Monte Alba, Cerler – Benasque (Huesca) during the month of July.

Our campers come from Catalonia, Aragon, the Balearic and Canary Islands and many other parts of Spain, and abroad.

The camp is staffed exclusively by native teachers who ensure that all the students improve their English significantly, as well as having a great time.

Students learn throughout the day as they are encouraged to speak English not only  in class but also and while participating in the extensive programme of activities and excursions during the mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

ACCOMMODATION

The camp accommodation and classrooms are located in the Hotel Monte Alba and all rooms have en-suite facilities.

STUDENT CARE

The camps are directed by an international educator with extensive experience and total dedication, who is present the entire time and provides round-the-clock supervision.

Students receive highly personalized attention. Ratio: 1 adult 6 campers.

The official camp language is English and it is used not only in the classroom, but during sports, activities and excursions.

ACTIVITIES (Sport and Excursions)

We design our sport activities and excursions to not only be fun but to continue exposure to English as well as fostering good sportsmanship and team play.

We also promote contact with nature, teaching students to respect and love it, and to take care of the environment.

Sports played at the camp include soccer, baseball, volleyball, swimming and tennis. (Students who wish to play tennis may bring their own rackets)

Various interesting excursions take place in the surrounding area. In addition to our popular fancy dress parties and discos, all music, and art and craft activities, and games are conducted in English.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMME

Three hours of in-class tuition daily, plus two hours of sport and two hours of art and craft or other outdoor activities.

Maximum 12 students per class

TRANSPORT

Departure and return transport is provided in modern coaches from Barcelona.
